B IS FOR BEASTMEN

In post apocalypse settings, mutated animals, which I generally refer to as "Beastmen" overall, come in many shapes, sizes, and types. I've been playing around with some ideas for custom mutant animal type tables, and, while this is still a work in progress, I thought I'd go with what I have so far. I deliberately went down to species level where I thought it would work best, because I've found that sometimes there is a difference between, for example, the Common Treefrog and Poison Dart Frog, and that's not even really considering the Poison Arrow Frog (which is actually a toad). My criteria for including these entries really boils down to three things though;
  • Is it common enough somebody might want to play it?
  • Is it unique enough or have enough "cool factor" that somebody might want to play it?
  • Do I need it to fill out my list? ;)
Entries marked with an asterisk indicate possible future subtable expansions (particularly those animals that can be broken down by breed sufficiently, such as cats, dogs, horses, etc.). Also of note, there are no tables for invertebrates yet, so no crab, octopus, insect, spider, or other critters have made it to the list yet.
